A very pleasant difference from the Monks I’ve seen here in China.
Shocked after seeing some of them wearing Addidas shoes on the streets, I learnedthey are paid plenty by the Government and even carry “MacBooks and cellphones.”
I’m not educated on the philosophies that Monks are supposed to pursue, but I didn’t think it included riding along with the tide of consumerism.
